New 3DS XL/LL Version Coming Soon
Though there is no second circle pad, the size of the 3DS screens have been increased 90% and there are actual Start/Home/Select buttons. The battery life has been extended to 6-10 hours (with 3D on, even longer without) and the included SD card is not boosted to 4GB instead of 2GB.
3DS XL/LL arrives in Japan July 28 and in the North American region August 19. Europe will be receiving the XL/LL, but it was not specified when. In Japan and Europe, the charging dock will be sold separately and the console won’t come with an AC adapter, though the old one works with it. In North America, the console will retail at $199 ($30 more than the regular 3DS console).
God damn that looks like a netbook. I may buy a 3DS when it comes out if it gets a price cut.
