Hello world of people who listen to podcasts!
As you may know, one of my favorite things to do is to go on “OPP” - (Other People’s Podcasts)
So, I started my own! “I Seem Fun: The Diary of Jen Kirkman Podcast.”
This way I am hoping that more people will find me and it will result in different ways for people to know me besides television comedy sets which are great but restrictive or books, which are great but take a long time to write.
There’s something really fun about just sitting in my bed talking into a microphone and no one can stop me! Every Wednesday is a new episode that centers around some kind of theme.
I’m sure at times it’s clunky, boring, and strange and I’m also sure at other times it’s funny and interesting and just fine.
I’m not looking to change the world or my life - just think it’s “fun.”

I am a fair person. I am willing to give people the benefit of the doubt and hear out their story. I can forgive someone, but I usually cannot forget the transgression. So if me forgiving you gives you some peace then great, I forgive you. But I still may hate your fucking guts.

I don’t want one because I have on of the greatest girlfriends right now. Amber is such an amazingly wonderful human being and she makes me extremely happy.

Work? I hate my job and I hate going into work because it just makes me feel like shit. I cannot wait to quit that fucking job and move on. So that, work. Work sucks.
24.What ARE you looking forward to?
Seeing Fast & Furious 6 tomorrow with my best friend as part of an early birthday present to him. Also, E3 because it is fucking E3. How can I not be ready to claw out my eyes to get there already? I will see where video games live! Also, my cousin’s wedding is the 8th and we have a bachelor party at Pechanga the weekend beforehand, so that should be fun. My birthday is in June too and the Last of Us comes out after E3. So fucking June is awesome! Awesome.

A Spree because I fucking love Sprees!
35.If you could move somewhere else, would you?
In a fucking heart beat. With E3 wrapping up next month, I feel like moving might not be too bad of an idea. I have no money for it, but I’d love to move. I really want to live in Portland, I think that’d be a cool place to be.

I probably hugged my nephew last I saw him, so in the living room last Saturday or my niece but it was less of a hug and my attempt to snap her spine like Bane. I hate that little shit so much.

Yes, I’ve done it twice now. Many have crumbled before that, but that is likely due to me being an awful human being or shit just wasn’t meant to last or whatever. So, my excellent editor, Sean wrote up a piece about myself (and my fellow Associate Editors) to celebrate us being with Gaming Illustrated for one year. I am humbled and honored by his kind words. Writing for Gaming Illustrated has been extremely rewarding and gratifying. The job probably saved my life in some ways and in other ways it has fulfilled one of my childhood dreams (see E3: A Game Odyssey). It might seem weird posting this about me, but fuck no one has ever valued my talents or service at a job as much as Sean nor have they said I will rule the world. So, future employers the bar is high. Anyway, feel free to ignore, but I am kind of proud of Gaming Illustrated and myself.
